Ajith Varghese is a two-time national award-winning educator and practitioner specializing in spiritual care and psychospiritual therapy. He manages the Spiritual and Religious Care Department and is the Clinical Supervisor-Educator for professional spiritual care at the Scarborough Health Network.

Ajith is trained at prestigious national and international institutions, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. His professional journey includes significant milestones, such as obtaining dual certification in Clinical Psychospiritual Education and Psychospiritual Therapy Education from the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) in 2010.

 Since 2001, Ajith has been dedicated to his work, starting as a psychospiritual therapy intern in a clinical setting specializing in substance addiction. Over the years, he has served as a Psychospiritual Therapist and Spiritual Care Practitioner in various multicultural and multifaith clinical environments. His strong belief in and advocacy for culturally sensitive spiritual care reflect his commitment to providing care that respects and values cultural differences.

Ajith is also an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Canada, Diocese of Toronto. Ajith is a dedicated professional with a rich personal life. He enjoys nature, cooking, friendships, photography, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family.
